COURT TESTIMONY
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Edie Drysdale brings clinical training and experience into the courtroom to provide testimony related to childhood trauma, child development, and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). Through years of working closely with children and families impacted by trauma, Edie has developed a deep understanding of how early experiences can shape emotional regulation, behavior, relationships, and overall well-being across the lifespan.

When providing testimony, Edie strives to translate evidence-based research and clinical knowledge into clear, objective, and understandable information. Using a trauma-informed, neuroscience-based lens, she helps courts better understand the complexities of child development, resilience, attachment, and safety.
Children’s experiences deserve to be understood with care and accuracy. Whether involved in matters related to child well-being or family concerns, Edie’s goal is to provide thoughtful, child-centered insight that supports informed decision-making while honoring both the science of trauma and the humanity of the child.
